KOREAN CULTURE
The concept of frying chicken in Korea has its beginning during the Korean War, when African American troops were stationed in South Korea during the late-1940s, and the early-1950s.
Today, Korean-style fried chicken has become popular all around the world and forms the backbone of pop culture. It reflects an Asian frying technique that renders out the fat in the skin, transforming it into a thin, tasty and crackly crust.
